RELATIONSHIP OF TRAINING PROJECT TO BUSINESS' GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
MOORE ERECTION, L.P. has experienced positive growth in the commercial construction industry since its formation. The lack of skilled workers in the industry has forced us to start training our existing people and new hires utilizing the nationally accredited "Wheels of Learning" curriculum. We currently employ 50 employees and plan to add up to 20 more.
We will be training metal building assemblers utilizing written materials in conjunction with post testing assessment in the field. The plan is structured such that when they successfully pass a chapter in the module, they will receive compensation in pay rate. The result of this excellent training program will be more skilled workers which will make them more valuable to us and most importantly to themselves for the rest of their lives.
We will also be taking the trainees that have successfully completed the Metal Building Assemblers Level 1 and continue their training in the Metal Building Assemblers Level II training class. This class is conducted in the same manner as described in the preceding paragraph.
PROJECT OUTCOME MEASURES:
Our goals are to continue to maintain our reputation as a quality contractor in our field. We take pride in the product we provide and with the addition of more highly skilled employees we can continue to offer this same quality service we are known for well into the future.
We are very pleased with the participation we received from our first year trainees and the increased levels of skill and self esteem that they have achieved. We will continue to train these people for both the benefit of the company and the benefit to themselves and their families.
