Since the two areas are so closely related, the company has become heavily involved in recent years in assisting the design professionals by lending their expertise in the utilization of custom engineered metal building systems coupled with structural steel design.

Ceco Building Systems is one of the three largest suppliers of custom engineered structures in the world. As one of Ceco's highest volume dealers, Moore Erection L.P. has the attention of Ceco's management and is able to provide input in matters of pricing, design, fabrication and delivery to insure that our clients needs are always met. Buzz Park has previously served on the Presidents Advisory Council and the Builders Advisory Council which are formal steering committees for Ceco. R.B. Morton, Moore's Custom Engineered Division Manager, currently serves on the Presidents Advisory Board.

From its modest beginnings, MOORE ERECTION, L.P. has grown into a leader in the South Texas steel erection industry. They have completed such notable projects as the thirty-story Marriott Rivercenter Hotel, the Majestic Theater renovation, the main library for the city of San Antonio, Texas A&M International University and the Alamodome. Moore has earned numerous awards for building projects through the CECO builders program; these include the 1993 "Best recreational building award" for Cornerstone Church Family Life Building, the 1995 "Best overall building award" for Saturn of San Antonio and the 1999 "Best Industrial Building" for Greene Tweed San Antonio, and Builder of the year in 2003.

MOORE ERECTION, L.P. is an employee owned company whose principles are George C. (Buzz) Park, President and Dallas A. Cloud, Executive Vice President. MOORE ERECTION, L.P. is the only steel erection company in Texas to have been awarded a grant by the state of Texas for their efforts in implementing the Associated Builders and Contractors nationally accredited training program "The Wheels of Learning". MOORE ERECTION, L.P. feels that the shortage of skilled construction workers is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately and the solution for them was to start their own training program.
